The Grandma is Cerise Hood's grandmother and Red Riding Hood mother. She is destined to be eaten by Ramona Badwolf, her own granddaughter. She is is the ruler of the Hood Hollow, who does anything to keep peace between the Wolfs and the Hoods.
Personality[]
She is a very wise and understanding old woman. She doesn’t like the thought of banishing a member of her own family, but she also thinks that no good comes from going off script.
She loves good competition, doesn't caring if a Hood or a Wolf wins, so long as the game is fierce and dirty.
Appearance[]
She is an old woman in a long nightgown, lacy nightcap, and spectacles. Her hands are wrinkled. Her smile reveals toothless gums.
Setting[]
She lives at Hood Hollow. Her house is connected to the Hood Hollow's village by a forest path on the Wolfs Forest.
Family[]
She is the mother of Little Red Riding Hood and Brother Hood, and Badwolf's mother-in-law. She is the grandmother of Cerise Hood and Ramona Badwolf. She is distantly related to Sparrow Hood and his family. She is apparently related to the Hood clan members, such as Brother Hood.
Trivia[]
- In The Unfairest of Them All, as Cerise's secret is discovered, the Wolfs and Hoods chant in unison to banish Cerise from the village. Cerise's grandmother, or The Grandma, objects to this and instead, the village will host a Basket Run trial. Luckily, Cerise breaks the finish vine in two before the Wolfs can catch up to her, rattling with a total amount of ten baskets. Before the Hoods and Wolfs start to argue again, Grandma tells Red to leave.
- In And The Thronecoming Queen is..., Apple realizes she is helping Grandma across the street.
